CS W1 - First Draft

First draft below. I don't know that the spaces created are very interesting, but I tried to create the necessary transitions with the least moves possible for simplicity.

Carli... I like the simple approach. It can make for an eloquent soultion. My only suggestion thus far would be to some get space 1B more integrated into 1A so that the larger volume is more clearly defined. The fixed walls seem to set a boundary between the two spaces making them distinct. Perhaps shifting the exterior wall up and away from the fixed element would open it up a bit.

Carli, I appreciate the simplicity. Sometimes simple, well proportioned spaces are mor einteresting than convolutions!
1B to me feels too separated from 1A by the diagonal wall to be part of the same space. Play with the opening at the end of the diagonal wall to correct that? The GT is not quite doing it (compare to the diagrams in my blog).

good solutions, I went the opposite direction... rather ran fast in the opposite direction. Your solutions is logical, formal, and very clean. I wounder what would happen if your GT happened inbetween the 1A and the OT area?

Carli.... I agree that 1B could be more of a part of 1A... feels isolated..I wonder if space 3 couldnt double as a GT by playing with some of the columns that define it now?? maybe losing one or two to blur the hard boundaries that are there now???
